Let’s Walk through the Process
Branding doesn’t have to feel confusing or chaotic. This process is designed to guide you step by step — with clarity, intention, and plenty of support along the way. You’ll always know what’s happening, what comes next, and how everything fits together.
Before we get started, let's make sure we're a great fit! We'll go over goals, vision, and where you want to take your business. During this time we'll also go over the design process and project timeline.
From there, we'll really dive into discovery via an in-depth questionnaire and competitor research.
Next, we pull it all together into a brand strategy document that shows how we'll position your brand. This also includes some moodboard options to give you a better idea of the overall visual direction to make sure we're aligned before starting the design process.
This is where your vision begins to take shape. Using the strategy and creative direction that we established in phase 02, I’ll begin crafting your brand identity with intention and transform your story into a cohesive visual identity.
Your brand is ready to go! You’ll receive all final files, organized and labeled for easy use, along with a comprehensive brand guidelines document outlining how to apply your new identity.
Deliverables depend on project scope but may include: brand guidelines, file exports (JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF), and launch graphics.

We don't offer logo-only design services. Here's why: a logo on its own doesn't give you the complete toolkit you need to present your business consistently and professionally. Without supporting elements like a defined color palette, typography system, and usage guidelines, your brand can quickly become inconsistent across different applications. Our brand identity projects ensure you have everything you need to show up cohesively everywhere. This approach protects your investment and sets you up for long-term success rather than needing to revisit and expand your branding later.
Brand guidelines (sometimes called a brand style guide) are a comprehensive document that serves as the rulebook for how your brand should look, sound, and be applied across all touchpoints. They typically include your logo variations and spacing requirements, color codes for print and digital use, approved typography, imagery style, graphic elements, tone of voice, and examples of correct and incorrect usage. Think of them as an instruction manual that ensures anyone working with your brand—whether it's you, your team, a printer, or a future designer—can maintain consistency and professionalism. We provide brand guidelines with most full identity projects to protect your investment and make implementation seamless.
Yes, revisions are an important part of ensuring you're completely satisfied with your brand. Our projects typically include 2-3 rounds of revisions at key stages, which allows for thoughtful feedback and refinement without endless back-and-forth. We've found this strikes the right balance between collaboration and efficiency. Additional revision rounds can be added if needed for an additional fee.
To kick off your brand design project, we'll need some key information from you including details about your business, target audience, competitors, and any brand attributes or feelings you want to convey. If you have existing brand materials, reference images you love (or don't love), or specific requirements, those are helpful too. We'll send you a detailed questionnaire and schedule a kickoff call to ensure we're aligned before diving into the creative work.
